Highlights

For the past twelve years, I’ve had the honour of representing our community as your Councillor, and Mayor in 2023. I am deeply connected to our community’s rich, diverse culture. I live in North Central Ward with my partner, our teenage children, and our beloved rescue animals. With a Maltese migrant parent, I grew up in Darebin, attending Santa Maria College in Northcote before pursuing further studies in Psychology at La Trobe University.

For nearly 25 years, North Central Ward has been my home, a place where my children have grown up and where I’ve developed a deep connection to the community. Before starting my family, I ran a business for almost a decade. This experience gave me a strong understanding of managing budgets, meeting performance targets, and exceeding client expectations. These skills now help me prioritize community needs, negotiate on behalf of residents, and deliver meaningful results.

My vision is for a community that values both people and the environment, protects biodiversity, and builds a sustainable, inclusive, and vibrant Darebin. I’m proud of the diversity that makes Darebin a wonderful place to live. I am committed to creating a cleaner, greener city that’s inclusive and accessible, with better services and connectivity. A city that ensures shopping strips are thriving, with foot traffic and opportunities for locals and businesses to connect and succeed.

My record speaks for itself: I have continually advocated for renewable energy, protected the most vulnerable members of our community, including animals, and fought on the big issues that impact the whole city, to preserve and protect Preston Market. I’ve championed efforts to safeguard our environment and biodiversity, at the Northcote Golf Course, demonstrating my ability to achieve results on the issues that matter most to you.My Reservoir is your Reservoir, and your concerns are my concerns.

My commitment to the Darebin community is unwavering. I will continue to advocate for the environment, equitable housing, and enhanced public services to ensure that our community thrives for generations to come. Together, we can build a more liveable, inclusive, and sustainable future for all residents.
